Global Game Jam is the world's largest game jam event, it takes place in 93 countries and more than 600 sites at the same time. I participated this time in the school Bellecour École in Lyon (France). This game jam lasted 48H00 and the theme of this year was "Ritual".

On arrival I found a team of 5 students to which I brought complementary skills. I did all the programmation and project management to make sure we end up with a game. I attached to enable my teammates to express themselves freely without having to worry about the technical stuff.

We created Spirit Run, a 2D horizontal side-scrolling platform / runner game. You play a shaman who must run from one temple to another accomplishing rituals in these places, if you're not fast enough you'll lose your soul and be brought back to the last ritual venue.

The game was realized using Unity 5 and C#, for the moment it's mandatory to use a XBOX360 gamepad and Windows. We intend to continue this project to improve it in globality and create new levels, also adding support for multiple different gamepads and the keyboard, and port to MacOS and Linux.
